I really can't put into words what all God has done for me. It is so personal in my heart and soul. God has healed me, given me the life I longed for, which is a quiet life with Him. For all my life, I just wanted love, to be alone with Him. That is what God has given me, no matter where I am or where I go.
I have been healed from many things, knowing God now, and that there is hope! I have found examples in Remnant Fellowship of the most loving way to love God the way He wanted and how to be like Jesus and knowing Him. Gwen is the best example I know. I'm honored that I even know her, or worship with her . . . it is more than I ever dreamed. I have children who have childhoods completely opposite of my own. They are secure and confident in love, whereas I was not. Their behavior speaks of it; they know they are loved. We have a stable, constant home. That was my childhood dream. I just can't thank God enough for what He has done for me and my family, and what He continues to do!
I do want to say that The Weigh Down Diet book was what started a complete change in me. It was the answer I was looking for: the call of my heart. I feel like it is a love letter from God to me. It's how I found a personal relationship with Him which has grown even deeper and stronger since being a part of this church. I am thankful to Gwen for pointing us up to God, for living her life that way, and encouraging us to seek GOD FIRST and live for Him alone! It has changed my life and given me true LIFE.
